Hey Bratz fans! Sasha here to tell you about a simple and inexpensive summer accessory!
When it comes to enjoying the hot summer rays every girl needs a pair of cool shades! Not only are sunglasses a great way to protect your eyes from the sun they also compliment any outfit–especially a swimsuit! On those days when you just want to rock shorts and a plain T or tank your sunglasses can add that extra pop you need to turn heads. Celebs accessorize with cool shades all the time and you can too! Sunglasses are always in fashion so no matter what brand, style or color you choose to rock, you’ll look stylish!
Hey Lovelies! What’s your go-to summer scent? I am totally obsessed with fruity, citrusy mists — they’re perfect for summer! Yasmin loves floral scents because she says they remind her of spring blossoms and butterflies. Sasha is always sporting the sweet scent of vanilla and coconuts, and Jade is all about the clean, fresh scents that remind her of the ocean!
Ever wonder what the difference is between body spray and perfume? Here is a quick tutorial!
Body Spray (aka body mist or body splash) is great for school because its sweet scents are subtle but refreshing! You’ll smell as sweet as can be without bothering your classmates with strong, overbearing scents.
Eau de colognes and eau de toilettes have a greater concentration of scents than body spray but less than perfume. Their scent will linger longer than your average body spray but won’t be too intense.
Eau de parfum and perfume have the greatest concentration of scents per bottle. They last longer and shouldn’t be applied heavily. Spray just a little on your wrists and neck and you are good to go all day!
Tell me what your favorite scent of the season is and why!

Hey fashionistas, Sasha here! Do you ever have those days where you can’t pick just ONE accessory to wear? Guess what…so do I! But I realized, why wear one bracelet when you can wear them ALL! When I’m in a t-shirt & jeans mood, I love piling on arm accessories to dress up a simple outfit. Plus, it’s a great way to make a statement…and you know how I love to make an entrance anywhere I go! Check out some of these summer bracelet trends and then try them out for yourself!
Mixed & matched bracelets are totally of-the-moment right now! Wear a big, enamel bangle with a skinny, sparkling one for an eye-catching look!
Mix & match!
Stackable bracelets are a must for your jewelry box. I love wearing a ton of ‘em at once so they make a fun jingling sound! You can also wear just a few for a more classic look.
Stack ‘em up!
Wear a tough cuff with a dainty string bracelet to show your sweet and edgy sides…I could totally see Cloe rockin’ this look!
Rose gold is so in this season! Wear a big watch with some chain bracelets so it’s always fashion time!
What’s your favorite bracelet look? And how do you deck out your wrists?
Hey Fashionista! Do you know what’s in store for your lovely locks this summer? Here are some summer statements that are totally easy breezy for this sunny season!
Buns: Try a messy bun for a carefree day out at the beach and shopping at the mall, or try a sleek sock bun to get your hair out of your face and still look fierce!
Jade rocks two buns for a stylin’ summer ‘do!
Braids: Braids are back this summer! My favorite is the fishtail braid. It’s a fab alternative braid that adds a little fun to the classic braid.
Yasmin looking pretty with her side-swept braid!
Ponytails: Ponytails are always in, but this summer try to adding your own twist to it, literally! It’s totally cool and totally easy!
Me rockin’ a twisted ponytail!
Short Chic: If you’re feeling a little adventurous this summer, try a perfectly pretty pixie cut or a short bob! It’s fresh, fabulous and fun for the summer months. Celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Watson and Michelle Williams are sportin’ these stylish short ‘dos!
Jade was experimenting with the idea of cutting her hair so she tied it in a high ponytail to see if she liked the short bob look.

Hey Bratz Fanz! We’ve previously written about cool colored denim, flashy footwear, spring makeup trends and sparkly statement jewels, but pretty clothes, shoes, makeup and jewelry don’t make you pretty they just enhance your natural beauty. So today I’m going to tell you about the number one beauty must-have that works all year long: CONFIDENCE!
I dare you to go without makeup or fierce fashions for one weekend. Here are the rules: Throw on a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt — no makeup, no jewelry and no accessories — just tie your hair up in a ponytail and go out because the girl in the mirror is beautiful just the way she is!
Don’t get me wrong girls, I love fashion and makeup more than the average person, but every once in a while we need to remind ourselves that we don’t need to cover ourselves with all the latest trends to be beautiful – we already are!
So once you have the confidence to feel pretty in your own skin, then start adding the accessories back into your life. Remember, fashion isn’t about making you feel pretty… it’s about making you feel even prettier than you already are – inside and out!
Jasmin Larian talks about Bratz and her personal passion for fashion.
Hey Bratzies! We sat down with Jasmin Larian, designer and daughter of Bratz founder Isaac Larian, and asked her some of your fashion questions! Check out her answers below to find out more about her fashion inspirations!
Have you ever made any fashion mistakes? (From Kabillion Girls Rule)
I wouldn’t call any fashion faux pas mistakes…But I experimented with cornrows ala Bo Derek in high school. I loved them, my mom didn’t. It was low maintenance and looked amazing to me at the time.
How would you describe your personal fashion passion? Are you as earthy as your doll Yasmin? (From Alex B.)
I am as earthy as Yasmin the doll! I love floral dresses and fringe, but as I’ve grown older my style has merged into a more bohemian sophisticated chic look — but most of the time no matter what I’m wearing you’ll see me with a flower crown!
If you could pick one of the Bratz girls to be for one day, which one would you be and why? (From Selena A.)
Other than Yasmin?! I would be Jade because I think her style is so rad and funky. She can pull off looks that only stylists dream of.
Do you influence any of the doll designs now that you’re older? (From Angeline B.)
Yes! I run my own line of accessories called CULT GAIA, but am still very much involved in the design process for the dolls. It’s my first passion!
