Xoxo
Hey Bratz Fanz! We’ve previously written about cool colored denim, flashy footwear, spring makeup trends and sparkly statement jewels, but pretty clothes, shoes, makeup and jewelry don’t make you pretty they just enhance your natural beauty. So today I’m going to tell you about the number one beauty must-have that works all year long: CONFIDENCE!
I dare you to go without makeup or fierce fashions for one weekend. Here are the rules: Throw on a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt — no makeup, no jewelry and no accessories — just tie your hair up in a ponytail and go out because the girl in the mirror is beautiful just the way she is!
Don’t get me wrong girls, I love fashion and makeup more than the average person, but every once in a while we need to remind ourselves that we don’t need to cover ourselves with all the latest trends to be beautiful – we already are!
So once you have the confidence to feel pretty in your own skin, then start adding the accessories back into your life. Remember, fashion isn’t about making you feel pretty… it’s about making you feel even prettier than you already are – inside and out!
xoxo,
Hey Bratzies! We sat down with Jasmin Larian, designer and daughter of Bratz founder Isaac Larian, and asked her some of your fashion questions! Check out her answers below to find out more about her fashion inspirations!
Have you ever made any fashion mistakes? (From Kabillion Girls Rule)
I wouldn’t call any fashion faux pas mistakes…But I experimented with cornrows ala Bo Derek in high school. I loved them, my mom didn’t. It was low maintenance and looked amazing to me at the time.
How would you describe your personal fashion passion? Are you as earthy as your doll Yasmin? (From Alex B.)
I am as earthy as Yasmin the doll! I love floral dresses and fringe, but as I’ve grown older my style has merged into a more bohemian sophisticated chic look — but most of the time no matter what I’m wearing you’ll see me with a flower crown!
If you could pick one of the Bratz girls to be for one day, which one would you be and why? (From Selena A.)
Other than Yasmin?! I would be Jade because I think her style is so rad and funky. She can pull off looks that only stylists dream of.
Do you influence any of the doll designs now that you’re older? (From Angeline B.)
Yes! I run my own line of accessories called CULT GAIA, but am still very much involved in the design process for the dolls. It’s my first passion!
Hey Lovelies – Cloe here! Want to know a secret? Some mornings I have fashion crises, too! This morning I woke up and I couldn’t find a thing to wear in my closet FULL of clothes – nothing seemed to look right! Don’t you hate it when that happens? So I decided to first pick a pair of stylin’ shoes and then build my outfit around them. Pretty shoes somehow always make me feel better! Anyway, I slipped on my newest, and most rockin’, pair of heels and suddenly I felt like everything I wore looked super chic and glamorous. Check them out, aren’t they just fab?!?
This got me thinking, shoes are a very important essential in every girl’s closet so I’m going to share with you this spring/summer’s hottest shoe trends – with these five pairs you’re set for summer!

What does your favorite pair of springtime shoes look like?
xoxo,
It’s officially prom season, Bratzies! You know I’m all about trend setting and making a fashion statement, so this year I’m kicking it up to a whole new level with my light up dress! What better way to standout in a crowd than to light up the room, right?!
But just because I’ve got my look all picked out, doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping my
eye on the upcoming prom trends for you lovelies. Here are the top three fashion statements to look forward to this prom season:
Short feathered skirts are totally hot right now. Dresses with feathers look fun, fashionable and fierce!
Sequins! You can never have too much glitz! Just remember to keep the accessories to a minimum when wearing a fully blinged out dress.
Having trouble deciding on a short dress or long dress? The high-low hemline is so in right now! Show some leg in the front and keep it long and glam in the back. Some high-low hemline dresses even come with a fun pattern on the inside!
Tell me all about your prom fashion picks!
Luv,
Hey Bratzies! Want to know what’s better than jewelry? Bigger, bolder, look-at-me jewelry! My newest obsession is the statement necklace. Chunky jewels are fabulous if you’re lookin’ to get noticed… and they’re great for adding some sparkle to any outfit, even a simple t-shirt and jeans! There is only one trick to rockin’ this look and that’s to not overdo it! For example, if you’re already sporting a super sparkly statement necklace then make sure to go easy on the earrings. They may be fabulous but you don’t want to get lost in a sea of jewels. Remember the jewels are the accessories, not you!
If chunky necklaces aren’t your thing, try wearing earrings to add a little sparkle around your eyes. Try colorful floral studs for a pop of color — match the color of your earrings to your eyes for extra impact — or hang a pair of bejeweled teardrop earrings for a fierce new look! If you’re wearing a statement necklace then pair it with a pair of simple rhinestone studs to add just the right amount of extra sparkle around your face.
Last but not least is a big, beautiful ring! Flowers and bows are very trendy right now – my favorite is the beautiful turquoise flower ring below that makes any outfit go from ordinary to super extraordinary! You really can wear these chunky rings with any outfit. But remember, only wear one bulky ring at a time – if you want to wear more than one ring then pair your big rings with simple bands. And if you are wearing multiple rings on one hand, avoid wearing statement bracelets and watches on the same hand.
Luv ya!
Hello lovelies! It’s Meygan here to teach you how to create the purr-fect Cat-Eye look! This is a classic make-up style that anyone can pull off with practice and good eyeliner. To get this glamourous look, you’ll need your favorite liquid eyeliner and an eyeliner brush with a fine-tip point.
1) Start by drawing a thin line on the inner part of your upper eyelid. Keep it very close to the lash line.
2)Go back to the outer eyelid and thicken the line just above the line you just drew. The line should be thin at the inner eye and slowly thicken as you get to the outer eyelid.
3) Then add a winged end—like a small check mark! Don’t let the winged end extend further than the length of your eyebrow—unless you’re going for a more dramatic look!
Be sure to rest your elbow on a surface, like the counter, to keep your hand steady. If you mess up a little, use some eye moisturizer or make-up remover to erase and start again. It takes lots of practice to get the hang of it, so just relax and have fun with it!
How do you feel about Cat Eyes? What celebs can you think of that always rock this look? We think Taylor Swift has it down!
Luv,
In February, MGA Entertainment announced its plans to launch a line of dolls called “True Hope” Bratz® and Moxie Girlz™ Dolls in response to the social media petition for a bald doll to raise awareness of children going through chemotherapy, affected by alopecia or dealing with a parent with cancer.

Hunger Games star, Kalia Prescott, encouraged her Twitter followers to check out Bratz True Hope.
The dolls will be available to purchase in June at Toys “R” Us and $1 from each will be donated to City of Hope Cancer Foundation.
Bratz and MGA Entertainment received a resounding amount of support from the public following this announcement. We wanted to share some of the buzz from our celebrity supporters here on the official Bratz Trends blog—it’s always trendy to help others!
At the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards celebrities tweeted their support for Bratz True Hope.

Aubrey O'Day from former pop group Danity Kane and Celebrity Apprentice star, tweeted her support and applauded Bratz for being the first to create dolls for this cause.

Dana Wilkey from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills tweeted her support and thanked Bratz for stepping up!

Jennifer Stone, who plays Harper on Wizards of Waverly Place, stopped by to say hello to the True Hope Bratz!
