Bratz Fragrance Tutorial

Hey Lovelies! What’s your go-to summer scent? I am totally obsessed with fruity, citrusy mists — they’re perfect for summer! Yasmin loves floral scents because she says they remind her of spring blossoms and butterflies. Sasha is always sporting the sweet scent of vanilla and coconuts, and Jade is all about the clean, fresh scents that remind her of the ocean!

Ever wonder what the difference is between body spray and perfume? Here is a quick tutorial!

Body Spray (aka body mist or body splash) is great for school because its sweet scents are subtle but refreshing! You’ll smell as sweet as can be without bothering your classmates with strong, overbearing scents.

Eau de colognes and eau de toilettes have a greater concentration of scents than body spray but less than perfume. Their scent will linger longer than your average body spray but won’t be too intense.

Eau de parfum and perfume have the greatest concentration of scents per bottle. They last longer and shouldn’t be applied heavily. Spray just a little on your wrists and neck and you are good to go all day!

Renee Alstead from ABC’s “The Secret Life of an American Teenager” said hello to Cloe.

Griffin Gluck from ABC’s “Private Practice” stopped by and showed us how to fold a cancer awareness ribbon from a dollar bill.

MGA Entertainment created True Hope Bratz® and Moxie Girlz™ Dolls in response to the social media petition for a hairless doll to raise awareness of children going through chemotherapy, affected by alopecia or dealing with a parent with cancer.

The dolls are available to purchase now at Toys “R” Us and $1 from each will be donated to City of Hope Cancer Foundation.

Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!

Hey Lovelies – Cloe here! Want to know a secret? Some mornings I have fashion crises, too!  This morning I woke up and I couldn’t find a thing to wear in my closet FULL of clothes – nothing seemed to look right! Don’t you hate it when that happens? So I decided to first pick a pair of stylin’ shoes and then build my outfit around them. Pretty shoes somehow always make me feel better! Anyway, I slipped on my newest, and most rockin’, pair of heels and suddenly I felt like everything I wore looked super chic and glamorous. Check them out, aren’t they just fab?!?

This got me thinking, shoes are a very important essential in every girl’s closet so I’m going to share with you this spring/summer’s hottest shoe trends – with these five pairs you’re set for summer!

  • Ballet Flats are super cute and comfortable to wear out during the day when you’re having lunch with friends, shopping at the mall or running errands.
  • Fun and easy to wear tennis shoes in cool colors and designs are totally in this season. If you’re going to be doing a lot of walking these are definitely the shoes to choose.
  • Chunky espadrilles are a classic spring shoe. Wear them with a pretty floral sundress for a perfect match.
  • Bejeweled gladiator sandals are a great alternative for the average pair of flip-flops. They’re just as easy to wear but they come in super stylin’ varieties that you can dress up or down – and show off your latest pedicure!
  • Going out for a fancy occasion? Wear dark denim and pick up a pair of vampy heels to add a little glam but still keep a chic casual feel to your outfit.

Short feathered skirts are totally hot right now. Dresses with feathers look fun, fashionable and fierce!

Sequins! You can never have too much glitz! Just remember to keep the accessories to a minimum when wearing a fully blinged out dress.

Having trouble deciding on a short dress or long dress? The high-low hemline is so in right now! Show some leg in the front and keep it long and glam in the back. Some high-low hemline dresses even come with a fun pattern on the inside!
