Stick to your Resolutions!

Hi y’all!

Now that New Year’s Eve is over, and we’ve drank all the sparkling cider and taken our sparkling cocktail dresses to the cleaners, it’s totes hard to stay committed to those New Year’s Resolutions!
Here are a few hip n’ handy tips to help you stay committed to your 2014 commitment.

1- Make a resolution! You gotta make one, to make it happen! It’s like the lottery always says, you gotta play to win!

2- (This one’s my fave.) Look in the mirror and repeat your goal out loud over and over for a full minute– then fix your hair, but not until the minute is over!

3- Write your goal down on a bunch of pieces of paper and post them places you will see. I like to write my resolutions on my pink sticky note pad in big blue bubble letters!
4- Make it possible to reach your goals. If you decided to run a half marathon this year, don’t pick one happening in March. Choose a marathon in October so you can give yourself plenty of time to practice and prepare your body for the run. Then sign up for smaller runs, like a 5k in March, and a 10k in June, to keep yourself motivated. Same fab rule applies to any of your goals!
5- Find ways to make it fun! Whether it is getting straight A’s or finally asking out that cute boy in Science class, figure out how to make the adventure crazy fun! Maybe you and your girls can go out for hot cocoa right after a fierce study session. Or before asking out your crush, you can dive in to an amaze shopping spree! So fun!
Good luck, Bratzies! Keep me updated!
xoxo

MOvember

Yo yo yo, Bratzos!!

Sasha here, and I want to talk to you about the hottest autumn trend. Moustaches are in! And they’re not just for hipsters. Not during the month of November, anyway.

This November, help raise awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, by joining in the epically fabulous, MOvember.

Movember stands for “moustache November.” Men who are supporting the cause, grow their moustaches for the entire month of November. But you don’t have to be a dude to dive into all the dramarama. You know this Queen Bee isn’t giving up an opportunity to rock the latest look!

Mo-Bros may have it easier by simply letting their facial hair grow, but Mo-Sistas have many options to help the cause and look fab doing it!

Here are a few ways Mo-Sistas can celebrate Movember:

1: The Finger-Stache.

Simply place your pointer finger above your upper lip to look like a moustache. Whenever you see a Mo-Bro, make your finger-stache to show your support!

2: The Pony-Stache

Use your own hair or ponytail and pull it around to front of your face to act as a moustache!

3: Jewelry-Stache:

Check out these ultra fab sunglasses and fabnomenal ring! Some moustache jewelry even donates a part of their proceeds to men’s cancers research! Check before you buy! Shopping is so much more fun when you’re helping peeps at the same time! Am I right?

4: Nail-Staches

For an easy and free moustache look, you can always paint on your stache! This way, you can never leave your look somewhere or forget it at home! You’ll be supporting the cause 24/7!

5: Stache-on-a-Stick

Cut out a moustache in your fave construction paper color and tape it to a straw for an easy, no-drama moustache.

Action Heroez and Cranky Cat

LAST WEEK: In the Adventures of the Action Heroez:

The Action Heroez tricked Evilla into retuning the Passionview Fashion Institute’s students’ designs. But Evilla swore she would get her revenge. Does Evilla have something more evil up her sleeve?!?

The Action Heroez arrive at the P.F.I. Graduation ceremony to thunderous applause.

The heroez quickly take their seats, eager to see the ceremony’s keynote speaker and web sensation, Cranky Cat!!

MEANWHILE…

Cranky Cat sits in his dressing room backstage, crankily waiting to give his keynote speech.

“Meh-eow,” says Cranky Cat.

The Action Heroez, and Cranky Cat, have no idea that Evilla Vanderbelt is lurking nearby…

Angry that her previous attempt to thwart graduation was hindered by the Action Heroez, Evilla sneaks backstage and CATNAPS Cranky Cat!

“The students can’t graduate without their speaker. Boo-hoo ,” says Evilla. “Aren’t you just positively tickled to destroy their joy with me, Cranky Cat?”
“Meh-eow.”

Back in the graduation auditorium, the students wait for the keynote speaker, but he doesn’t come. Gasps! Cries! Oh no!! Has something happened to Cranky Cat?!?!

The Action Heroez rush into action, but when they get to Cranky Cat’s room, it’s too late.

“Don’t worry,” Shira says, “We will find Cranky Cat and return him safely to the graduation. Somehow… ”

Will the Action Heroez be able to save Cranky Cat? Tune in next week!!

Guest Post: Bratz Boyz Trends

Hey Bratzies! Super-fan Alex B here with some trendy tips for the boyz. If you know a guy with a passion for fashion who’s lookin’ to stay stylish this spring, you’re in luck ‘cuz I’ve got this season’s hottest trends for boyz to keep them fresh and fashionable!

NEON COLORS
One of this spring’s biggest trends for boys are neon colors. A touch of color adds major spark to any outfit! Pair plain skinny jeans with a bright graphic T and matching sneakers for a casual look that pops! If you’re a fan of colorful skinnies, go bold with the reverse look, using a black or white graphic T instead! Go-to colors that stand out on anyone are lime green, acid yellow, and electric blue. Neon colors aren’t just for clothes though! If your style is more toned down, adding a bright belt, colorful shades, or a rockin’ wristband will give your look electric accents that bring out the hue in you!

There are so many ways to rock neon colors! Step out in sizzling hues to make a spark in the streets, and at school!

WILD PRINTS
Also trending for guys are wild prints. Bold patterns are great for makin’ statements and stayin’ stylish! Most black & white patterns compliment neon colors nicely too, and many pieces are available in bright, colorful prints! For a laid-back look, try a printed T with jeans or shorts. For a sharper look, wear a patterned button-down instead! Everyone can pull off prints, but if you’re not totally convinced, start with basic geometrics. Be sure to avoid clashing too many patterns in one outfit too. It could mean the difference between looking your best, and looking a mess!

Peep these prints! Plaid, stripes, camo, and a funky floral too!

VINTAGE REVIVAL
Vintage-inspired looks are huge this spring too. Retro accessories are coming back big-time! Thick-rimmed glasses are awesome because they work with everything, and come in a variety of colors! Bowties are also great retro accessories because they too come in many colors and patterns, and look great with button-down shirts! Also making a comeback are suspenders. Suspenders are a cool way to add quirky style to any outfit, and also come in tons of colors! Retro accessories give your wardrobe a touch of timelessness, but don’t over-do it! Wear one at a time to give your outfits a vintage twist without looking obsolete ;)

Awesome eyewear makes the perfect accessory for any outfit!

Well dudes, that’s all for now. Stay stylin’!

-Alex
