Funky ‘n’ Fab Football Fashions

What’z the hapz, Bratz?
This Sunday is the Superbowl! Are you totally psyched?!? I dig any opportunity to get together with my besties, eat some fiery foods and cheer at the top of my lungs! And, just like for any other epic occasion, I’m all about dressing the part! Whether you’re cheering for the Seahawks or the Broncos, there are seriously boss looks you can find at home to show off your team spirit!

Jade’s Guide to Funky ‘n’ Fab Football Fashions:

COLORS: Once you know your team colors, it’s super easy to support your team by layering the colors! Cheerleaders should take note! We’re going to look fabulous.

Seahawks colors: blue, silver and bright green

Broncos colors: orange and blue

EYE SHADOW: There are two ways to show off your spirit in shadow. You can paint each eyelid a diff color. For example, if you’re a Broncos fan, color your left eye blue and your right eye orange! Or, use all the colors of your team on each eye. Remember, use the darker colors on the lid and the lighter color above the eye crease. For example, if you are a Seahawks fan, use the darker blue color as eyeliner, cover your eyelid in green up to your eye crease, and then use the lightest color, silver, up to your brow!

NAILS: We are fans of painting every other finger a different team color for alternating awesomeness!

LAYERED SHIRTS: Super easy to do! Bronco fans can wear a blue camisole under an orange shirt. Make sure the blue camisole is longer than the orange shirt and peeks out on the bottom to complete the look. You can also layer your team-colored sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts and more! Just make sure the longer shirt is on the bottom.

JEWELRY: Wear it all! Everywhere! We usually recommend being conservative with your accessories, but when it comes to game day, go all out!! I totally encourage you to put on every piece of jewelry you have that is your team colors! The brighter and the danglier, the better!

LACES ‘n’ RIBBONS: Pick up team-colored shoe laces from your local dollar store and then complete the look by adding team-colored ribbons to your hair.

You will shine with team spirit from head to toe!

Go team!!

XOXO

Bratz Boulevard Excerpt:

After months and months of waiting (We’ve been sitting on this secret since October 2013!) we are so happy to finally make our much-hyped announcement regarding the Bratz and their plans for 2014… and 2015!

bratz announcement

We’re sure a lot of you have been very curious, and maybe even worried about the brand lately, and for good reason! No new promo pics, no new art, and above all, no new dolls being spotted on shelves?! We’ve seen quite a bit of speculation from fans, but now we’re thrilled to put all suspicions to rest and officially announce that this is all part of MGA’s next big plan for the Bratz girlz! MGA has decided to dedicate the entire year of 2014 to re-building the Bratz brand, and getting back to what made it such a massive success in the first place! So to do this, the Bratz are going on a hiatus of sorts for the year, all leading up to a MAJOR comeback! …

Stick to your Resolutions!

Hi y’all!

Now that New Year’s Eve is over, and we’ve drank all the sparkling cider and taken our sparkling cocktail dresses to the cleaners, it’s totes hard to stay committed to those New Year’s Resolutions!
Here are a few hip n’ handy tips to help you stay committed to your 2014 commitment.

1- Make a resolution! You gotta make one, to make it happen! It’s like the lottery always says, you gotta play to win!

2- (This one’s my fave.) Look in the mirror and repeat your goal out loud over and over for a full minute– then fix your hair, but not until the minute is over!

3- Write your goal down on a bunch of pieces of paper and post them places you will see. I like to write my resolutions on my pink sticky note pad in big blue bubble letters!
4- Make it possible to reach your goals. If you decided to run a half marathon this year, don’t pick one happening in March. Choose a marathon in October so you can give yourself plenty of time to practice and prepare your body for the run. Then sign up for smaller runs, like a 5k in March, and a 10k in June, to keep yourself motivated. Same fab rule applies to any of your goals!
5- Find ways to make it fun! Whether it is getting straight A’s or finally asking out that cute boy in Science class, figure out how to make the adventure crazy fun! Maybe you and your girls can go out for hot cocoa right after a fierce study session. Or before asking out your crush, you can dive in to an amaze shopping spree! So fun!
Good luck, Bratzies! Keep me updated!
xoxo

Happy New Year

Happy New Year, Bratzos!!

Have you come up with a New Year’s Resolution? My original resolution was to be fabulous. But then Jade pointed out that  I am already fabulous! LOL!!

My new New Year’s Resolution is to really commit to pursuing my passions! And not just one passion; all of them! It’s a new year and I am ready to unleash my passion onto the world!

You Bratzies may remember that back in the summer I wanted to follow my dream of becoming a star, but was too afraid to go after it.  (Read my old blog about it here:

http://blog.bratz.com/house-of-bratz-5-12-13

Yasmin was so sweet and told me she had my back. She encouraged me to fight for my passions, and now, in 2014, I’m going to! It’s time to stop letting fear get in my way. If you never try, you will never succeed, right?

This year, I’m going to be bold, be brave and make my friends proud! Who’s with me?!? Let’s start a revolution of passionistas!

Want to find out which passion profession you are best suited for? Take our awesome My Passion Aptitude test:

Winter Break Fun

Hi y’all!

Are you having a super fun Holiday break from work and school?

We are!

At first, Jade was a little bummed because it is WAY too cold to go outside. But then Yasmin suggested we all hang out around the fire and read our awesome interactive comic books!  Sasha and I think Yas recommended reading because the My Passion comic book is all about her being the most epically awesome DJ of all time! Yasmin insists she thought of the idea simply because she loves to read.

Either way, it’s still been super fun! We make, like, buckets of hot cocoa, start a fire, turn on some fresh tunes and take turns using my tablet. The games in the interactive comic are so rad to play! Sasha rocked an amazing beat in the DJ game. And Jade styled my hair so hilariously in the My Stylez comic book, that we were rolling on the floor laughing for, like, 20 minutes!

Have you read and played our fab interactive comics yet? You can find them right here, on our website, under GAMES.

What’z the Happenin’z, Bratzianz?

I love the holidays!  Not only do I get to repurpose my rad Costume Bash outfit (Hello, it’s perfect for holiday parties!), but the sights and smells of the season really get me stoked! Especially the smell of warm cookies baking in my oven.

I love to bake cookies. And baking cookies that match my outfit is beyond trendsetter-rad!

DIY Holiday Gift Crowns

Namaste, Bratzies

Are you in need of some OM-mazing gift ideas for your BBFs? I’m making my besties flower crowns! It’s super easy, cheap and beyond fab. Giving D.I.Y. holidays gifts is the ZENsible thing to do!

Ask a parent for help.

Here’s what you need:

- Headband

- Silk flowers (We like getting silk mistletoe for the season, but you can use any type of flower you like!)

- Glue (A hot glue gun works best if you can get your parents to help!)

Now all you need to do is…:

Glue the flowers on to the headband! Voila! The look, feel and vibe is totally unique to you! I’m sure the end result will be OM-mazing!

To get more into the season, you can use dried flowers to decorate barrettes!

Simply glue dried baby’s breath and pussy willows to the tops of barrettes! For added awesome, keep the branches attached. It will enhance the ethereal look.

So fab for the holidays!

Let me know how is goes!

Holiday Cards

Yo yo yo, Bratzos!

‘Tis the season for corny Holiday Cards.  You know what I’m talking about, the ones with pictures of you and your family on the front.  The whole ordeal has so much drama-rama! Parents dragging you to the mall, putting you and your siblings in matching sweaters, and having to smile in front of a cheesy backdrop. All this drama, just so your parents can send that photograph Christmas card to all your friends and family, letting them know what kind of grades you got in school this year. (Shudder!)

Not to be a Grinch, but those photo cards are a big Bah Humbug!

This year, the  Bratz and I are making our own Holiday cards! We think you should, too!!

Here’s how to do it the Bratzie way:

Get your group of girls together and raid each other’s closets for the most fabulous or outrageous outfits imagineable! Don’t be afraid to get silly! Wigs! Shoulder pads! Your mom’s ratty old slippers from the 1980s!

Dress up in all the hilarious mix ‘n match styles and then ask your parents or older siblings to take awesome group photos of you with your besties!

Next, download the FREE Bratz Cam App.  You can get to it here:

http://www.bratz.com/en-us/section/games

This will let you add fabulous fierceness to your photos by enhancing them with our awesome filters, borders and stickers!

Last, take the final photo and show it to your parents. When they go to print their holiday cards, ask them to print you 20 of your own holiday cards with your fab photo on the front for you to hand out to your friends at school!

Last, decorate your locker or cubby hole with the fab holiday card so you can remember that fun day with your friends all year long!

XOXO

MOvember

Yo yo yo, Bratzos!!

Sasha here, and I want to talk to you about the hottest autumn trend. Moustaches are in! And they’re not just for hipsters. Not during the month of November, anyway.

This November, help raise awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, by joining in the epically fabulous, MOvember.

Movember stands for “moustache November.” Men who are supporting the cause, grow their moustaches for the entire month of November. But you don’t have to be a dude to dive into all the dramarama. You know this Queen Bee isn’t giving up an opportunity to rock the latest look!

Mo-Bros may have it easier by simply letting their facial hair grow, but Mo-Sistas have many options to help the cause and look fab doing it!

Here are a few ways Mo-Sistas can celebrate Movember:

1: The Finger-Stache.

Simply place your pointer finger above your upper lip to look like a moustache. Whenever you see a Mo-Bro, make your finger-stache to show your support!

2: The Pony-Stache

Use your own hair or ponytail and pull it around to front of your face to act as a moustache!

3: Jewelry-Stache:

Check out these ultra fab sunglasses and fabnomenal ring! Some moustache jewelry even donates a part of their proceeds to men’s cancers research! Check before you buy! Shopping is so much more fun when you’re helping peeps at the same time! Am I right?

4: Nail-Staches

For an easy and free moustache look, you can always paint on your stache! This way, you can never leave your look somewhere or forget it at home! You’ll be supporting the cause 24/7!

5: Stache-on-a-Stick

Cut out a moustache in your fave construction paper color and tape it to a straw for an easy, no-drama moustache.

Lock-or-Treat

Namaste, Bratzies!

Trick-or-Treating is just around the corner! I know all our fashion savvy Bratzies have come up with their totally fab costumes by now, but have you decorated your locker yet?

Lock-Or-Treating is one of my most fave things to do! Throughout the day on Halloween, you stop by your besties lockers. Each friend participating stores some delish snacks to pass out to their BBFs! Taking the time to hang out at my friends’ lockers is super fun, but the most OM-mazing part of Lock-Or-Treating is decorating your locker!

Last year, I covered the outside and inside of my locker with fake spider webs. Every friend who stopped by got to take home one of the plastic spider rings hanging in the web!  I also carved a fab fake foam pumpkin and left an LED light in it to light up my foam pumpkin like a real Jack O’lantern!

OMG! I almost forgot to tell you, we made a pumpkin carving printable of my face!! Now you and the rest of my besties can carve a Yas-O-Lantern!! Download the pumpkin carving printable here:

http://www.bratz.com/scripts/en-us/downloads/printable/bratz_yasmin_pumpkin.pdf

This year, I think I will keep my locker decor on theme with my costume. I will wallpaper the inside with cow print and cut-outs of total cutie country stars.

Do you have any FABnomenal or ZENSible ideas on how to decorate your locker? Let me know! And be sure to check with your school if it’s cool to Lock-Or-Treat.

Can’t wait to hear all about it!!

XOXO
