Winter Break Fun

Hi y’all!

Are you having a super fun Holiday break from work and school?

We are!

At first, Jade was a little bummed because it is WAY too cold to go outside. But then Yasmin suggested we all hang out around the fire and read our awesome interactive comic books!  Sasha and I think Yas recommended reading because the My Passion comic book is all about her being the most epically awesome DJ of all time! Yasmin insists she thought of the idea simply because she loves to read.

Either way, it’s still been super fun! We make, like, buckets of hot cocoa, start a fire, turn on some fresh tunes and take turns using my tablet. The games in the interactive comic are so rad to play! Sasha rocked an amazing beat in the DJ game. And Jade styled my hair so hilariously in the My Stylez comic book, that we were rolling on the floor laughing for, like, 20 minutes!

Have you read and played our fab interactive comics yet? You can find them right here, on our website, under GAMES.

Holiday Cards

Yo yo yo, Bratzos!

‘Tis the season for corny Holiday Cards.  You know what I’m talking about, the ones with pictures of you and your family on the front.  The whole ordeal has so much drama-rama! Parents dragging you to the mall, putting you and your siblings in matching sweaters, and having to smile in front of a cheesy backdrop. All this drama, just so your parents can send that photograph Christmas card to all your friends and family, letting them know what kind of grades you got in school this year. (Shudder!)

Not to be a Grinch, but those photo cards are a big Bah Humbug!

This year, the  Bratz and I are making our own Holiday cards! We think you should, too!!

Here’s how to do it the Bratzie way:

Get your group of girls together and raid each other’s closets for the most fabulous or outrageous outfits imagineable! Don’t be afraid to get silly! Wigs! Shoulder pads! Your mom’s ratty old slippers from the 1980s!

Dress up in all the hilarious mix ‘n match styles and then ask your parents or older siblings to take awesome group photos of you with your besties!

Next, download the FREE Bratz Cam App.  You can get to it here:

http://www.bratz.com/en-us/section/games

This will let you add fabulous fierceness to your photos by enhancing them with our awesome filters, borders and stickers!

Last, take the final photo and show it to your parents. When they go to print their holiday cards, ask them to print you 20 of your own holiday cards with your fab photo on the front for you to hand out to your friends at school!

Last, decorate your locker or cubby hole with the fab holiday card so you can remember that fun day with your friends all year long!

XOXO

NaNoWriMO!!

Namaste, Bratzies,

I am so happy. November is one of my most favorite months out of the year. Can you guess why?

NaNoWriMo!!

Do you Bratzies know about NaNoWriMo?

NaNoWriMo stands for NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth! For the month of November, people from all around the world commit to completing the first draft of their novel. Or at least, to complete the first 50,000 words of it! It’s sooooo cool! Everyone who participates in NaNoWriMo instantly finds a community of writers!

There is a website where you can sign in, upload your pages and share your daily word count. But, you don’t have to sign up online to participate! I didn’t! Instead, I just told my BBFs all about it, and they are doing it with me!

Once a week we get together and tell each other about our stories. We also give each other ideas, and, most importantly, lots of encouragement!! Writing is hard. Hugs, kind words and constructive criticism are a must!!

Trying to write 50,000 words in one month is no joke! But participating in NaNoWriMo, and giving your dream of being a novelist a real shot, is totally the ZENsible thing to do!

I’m writing a fantasy book! What are you Bratzies writing about? Give me the summary of your story below! I bet it’s OM-mazing!

Ooh, and if you need some reading inspiration, check out my brand new comic book, all about me pursuing my passions!

Find it under the GAMES section on our website!

Tweevils are Cyber Bullies

What’z the hapz, Bratz??

If any of you Bratzies were on Facebook, you would’ve seen that the Tweevils hacked into our Facebook page!! It was totally KRAY-to-the-Z! Krazy!! And beyond NOT kool!!

After they went on our Facebook page, they left posts pretending they were us!! Can you believe it?! They even tried to pry secret information about us from all of our Bratzies!! But the total worst part: they changed our Facebook password so we couldn’t get back in!!

Luckily, our EPICALLY RAD Bratzies took to Twitter and told us what the Tweevils changed our password to. Those puke-pink Tweevils totally cyber bullied us, but we will NOT let it happen again! I did a little research and found some primo tips on protecting your privacy in cyber space!!

JADE’S RAD ANTI-CYBER BULLYING TIPS:

1 – NEVER tell anyone your password. Not even your BBFs!! A true bestie would never make you feel bad for not sharing. When you lose your password, like we did, you lose total control of your page and your image. Avoid this epic fail by keeping your secret password secret.

2 – Never send texts or pics to anyone that you wouldn’t want getting around. If there is an adorbs pic of you blowing a bubble, but you aren’t supposed to be chewing gum, do NOT send the cute pic to your friend. Instead, show it to her in-person whenever you see her next. Anything that could get you in trouble should stay in your possession only!

3 – Never open any messages from people on the internet that you don’t know or know to be bullies. These messages could contain gnarly text or links that contain viruses!! Best to play it safe and just stay clear.

4 – Don’t save your password on any computer — except for maybe the ones you own at home. And alwayz make sure to log out of all your accounts at the school media center, library, Internet café or even at a friend’s house. If someone is anglin’ to cyber bully, you don’t want to make it easy for her to pick you as the next target.

5 – Pause before you post.  Peeps will judge you by the messages you leave behind on social media. If you think you’ve written something rad and full of swagger, read it again to make sure it can’t be misinterpreted as mean or crude. Once you’ve given it the once-over, if you’re still  amped by what you wrote, go ahead and click: send.

BONUS TIP – Don’t be a cyber bully yourself. A true Bratzie is never mean to someone, even when you have the opportunity to be mean anonymously. Do YOU want to be like the Tweevils? It takes a lot of character to take the high road, but if there is one thing people know about our Bratzies, it is that they are over-flowing with character.

Lastly, if you see someone being cyber bullied, tell an adult you trust. For more tips, read our radtacular blog, called “Friends Stand Up.” You can click below to read it:

Stay stylin’, my friends.

Safety While Surfin’!

OMG!!

I abso-TOTAL-lutely love talking with all of you, my BBFs (Best Bratzies Forever), over the Internet! Cloe, here, and it’s fo’ realz rad to be able to catch up with all my mains, who live all around the world! The Internet is an ah-mazing place, but you Bratzies must remember, staying safe is the key to having fun!

In my cheerleading squad, I had to learn all proper safety precautions so I didn’t hurt myself mid-cheer. No one likes to suffer an injury. Super-chanting B-R-A-T-Z would be way less awesome if I had to cheer while wearing a neck brace!

Security online is just as important. Lucky for us, safety is always stylish. Here are some tips on how to have a crazy cool time on the Internet and stay safe while surfin’.

1 – Never use your real name on the Internet. When creating usernames, make up fun nicknames to go by. If you have to put numbers in your username, don’t use your birthdate or age. My username is: Angel14. Angel is after the nickname my BBFs call me, and 14 is after the jersey number of my favorite soccer player, Abby Wambach!

2 – Never give out your home address, phone number, school name or passwords. This information is supposed to stay super secret. If anyone asks you for your real name, home address, phone number or secret passwords, sign out of the website ASAP! It’s not cool to ask kids for all their deets.

3 – Never agree to meet someone you met on the Internet without asking a parent first. Even if the person is a girl your age and has some super sweet and totally free make-up to give you. If one of your online friends asks you to meet them in the real world, let an adult know ASAP. Your parents will want to meet your cyber-sister online before deciding whether it’s cool to hang in person.

4 – If anyone starts using nasty language or says something that makes you uncomfortable, sign off immediately. A Real Bratz is never mean, even online. Instead of spending time talking to the rude dude, spend your time finding a new friend! Or coming over to the Bratz blog and talk to us! I always LOVE hearing from you!

5 – Just like you don’t want others to be mean to you, you should never be mean to others. Even online, please use nice language and be kind. Lately, the Bratz and I keep hearing stories about cyber bullying. Not cool, cyber bullies. Not cool.  Real Bratz stay positive, stand up for friends and never gang up on someone else. Even when they can stay anonymous on the Internet. If you see foul language or cyber bullying, tell an adult. The Internet should be a fab-fun place for everyone!

I know all these rules can seem totally lame because sometimes you make super awesome buddies online and you want to give them your information. I have a ton of fab friends that I’ve met on the web, but I still always make sure to play it safe. If you want to break any of these cyber safety rules, ask a parent first. They can determine if the situation is safe for sharing or not!

Now that we’ve gone over all the rules for safe cyber surfin’, I’m super psyched that you and I can hang out together in a safe online environment!!!

Do you Bratzies have any other tips I should know on how to keep out of harms way while browsing the web?

I was thinking of changing my username. Do you awesome Bratzies have any new username suggestions for me?

Love ya lots!
