Dancing Daffodils

Namaste, Bratzies!

I’m blooming with excitement! Not only is March my birthday month, but its official flower is my personal fave: the wild daffodil!

I dig the wild daffodil for rivers of reasons. It’s bright, cheery and even though it’s usually yellow and white, the flower can be found in my signature color, pink! Also, scientists found a natural compound in the daffodil bulb that may help treat brain cancer! Bringing cheer and helping change the world totally makes the wild daffodil an honorary Real Bratz flower!

What I heart most about wild daffodils is that they energize my creativity by popping up out of nowhere. Just like my story ideas! I could totes chillax in a meadow of wild daffodils and write in my journal all day!

I’m not the only Real Bratz inspired by wild daffodils. English author, poet and diarist, Dorothy Mae Ann Wordsworth, wrote about stumbling upon tumbling daffodils while walking though the woods with her brother, famous poet William Wordsworth. Inspired by his sister’s journal entry, William Wordsworth wrote a super-famous poem about daffodils dancing in the breeze.

You can read the totally awesome poem here: https://wordsworth.org.uk/daffodils.html

Can you Bratzies tell me what your favorite flower is? Or tell me about the greatness your fave flower inspires in you!

NYC Fashion Week Love

Hi there, Bratzies! Jade here and I’ve got a serious case of New York Fashion Week! What a great week for the city, I so wish the Bratz could have been there front and center for all the glam!

Let’s talk runway trends. From fierce prints to super brights like blues, reds and greens, it’s going to be another bold year in fashion! Think florals with stripes, funky prints with a girly touch and intense color blocking with a bright blues and soft pinks. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and colors that may not typically match, Bratzies. Let the imagination run wild this season because it’s all about making a personality statement and taking outfits to new heights. Sure sounds like Bratz style to me!

I definitely will be taking some serious fashion trends to the L.O.V.E Jade boutique and will be sure to share all my style inspiration on the blog.

I’m SO excited to share my new styles with each of you and see what all the Bratz fashionistaz will be wearing this next year.  I always love seeing the great outfit creations from each of you! What were some of your favorite looks from the runway? Post your comments below!

Satchel Style

Hey there, Bratzies! Cloe here, and if you’re like me, you need a SERIOUS purse to hold all your makeup, your cell phone, journal, and anything else that could solve any possible issues at school, the mall, or even a dance! This Fall, the best bag there is to handle…well, EVERYTHING…is the stylin’ satchel bag.

Somewhere between a clutch and a shoulder bag, the satchel was made to be carried low by the handles, or worn high close to the body and around the shoulder. These bags are seriously roomy. I can fit my whole life in one of these, and thanks to its rounder shape, it doesn’t look bulky or clunky.

Plus, since it’s designed to be carried or worn close at hand, it’ll take less time to grab your cell phone out of it to put in a cute boy’s number!

Try coordinating the color of your satchel with the primary color of your accessories, such as your belt, shoes, or scarves – it’ll enhance those small doses of shade on your body and really make them POP! What would YOU put in your satchel before leaving the house?

Fall Into Summer

A cute floral Summer dress like this can be totally Fall-worthy with just the right accessories…swap out those heels for some ankle boots, and rock a dark turtleneck underneath!

Hey there, Bratzies! Yasmin here, and I don’t know about you, but I am SO not ready to stop wearing some of the cool clothes that I bought for the Summer! Just because it’s Autumn doesn’t mean our fun in the sun outfits have to “Fall” out of our closet.

It’s all about pairing some breezy-weather items with our tanning outfits. Got a cool silk tanktop? Wear that with some cool skinny jeans, high heels, and some big jewelry.

Still want to rock that floral-print sun dress? Add some ankle boots and a black turtleneck around you to tone down the Summer attitude into Fall cool.

Still want to show your legs in some cute jean shorts? Pair it with a motorcycle jacket and a long-sleeved dark-colored top.

It’s all about taking the best of both seasons and making it timeless! What Fall fashions do YOU plan to pair with your Summer classics?

Smart Style

See how a little preppy houndstooth pattern on my pants gives the outfit an edge without overpowering it? Give it a shot, schoolgirl!

Hello to all my Bratzie girls! Cloe here, and I’m getting ready to shop for some cool new plaid skirts so I can be prepared to go preppy!

The newest Fall trend calls for us ladies to start breaking out the school uniform-type clothes and accessories, such as cardigans, vests, knee socks, argyles, plaids, thick-framed glasses, and loafers–but with a stylish twist!

Try incorporating a preppy-type pattern or item into your usual outfits, like a houndstooth skirt or pants, or some argyle knee-socks with your favorite skirts.

It’s so awesome that dressing like you’re going to school can look so fabulous outside of school! What kind of prep-tacular accessories or clothes do you plan to try out?

That’s all for now…stay looking SMART, Bratzie girls!

Fall Fashion Goes Flat

Sculpted heels are awesome, but sometimes fashion needs both feet FLAT on the ground!

Hello my Bratzies! Your Funky Fashion girl Meygan here, getting ready to head back to school in a totally trendy way! This Fall has me thinking outside the box…the shoebox, that is! While I am all about the sky-high heels, a fashionista on the go needs to give her feet and back a rest now and then, which is why I am so totally stoked about the upcoming Fall trend – flirty flat shoes!

They go well with any skirts or skinny jeans, and can be as dressy or casual as you need them to be. Plus, you can throw them on super-fast if you’re running late for class, and make the mad dash to homeroom in no time without worrying about tripping in front of any cute boys! Make your first attempt at flats a bold one…try shimmery, sparkly fabric, or open-toed with a bright toenail polish.

Remember Bratzies, fashion goes a lot farther when you’re comfortable, so make that step back into class a smooth one! What kind of flats would you wear on your first day back?

Mixing Up Outfits

Hi Bratzies! It’s so close to back to school time and that gets me excited because I LOVE back to school shopping! A new backpack, new shoes and awesome outfits are what gets me motivated for fall. But here’s the bad part: once the first few weeks go by and I’ve worn all my brand new outfits I get stuck in a fashion rut! So I’ve been thinking of new ways to spice up my outfit choices.

One great way to mix up your outfits is to pair a dress with a cute top! It really works wonders to your wardrobe by creating a whole new look. A short sleeve bright cardigan layered over a printed dress topped off with a nice belt comes together nicely. Try it out and let me know how many new outfits you come up with!

I mixed it up and made this dress into a whole new outfit!

Bratz Pop Star Fashion Inspiration

Hey Bratzies! Like our new look? We love to dress up and get glammed up like our favorite pop stars! Sometimes you just have to let your inner rockstar out to play for a little bit! It’s such a refreshing way to let loose and get into character. The wild-colorful hair, fun make up and creative styles allow us to use our imaginations. Our favorite part about dressing up is karaoke time–we love to sing our favorite pop star’s song while dressed up! Today’s pop stars inspire our funky, fashion forward looks. Can you guess which pop star is each of our favorites?

Fashionably Yours,

Summer Skin Care

When the summer sun is shining bright I love splashing around at the beach all day with my girlz! It’s so easy to get carried away with summer fun and forget about putting on some extra SPF.

Remember, part of being a fabulous fashionista means taking care of your body—and your skin is so important to protect! The sun can damage your skin very badly over time and can cause wrinkles, age spots, eye problems and sometimes go as far as skin cancer.

I embrace my natural glow and protect my skin from the sun's harmful rays!

I always slather on SPF 15 face moisturizer every morning. When I know I’m spending the day enjoying the great outdoors—whether at an outdoor mall or hanging with friends at the park—I put at least SPF 15 sun block all over myself. When I’m active outside or going in and out of water I make sure to reapply many times throughout the day. Even the sun block that says “sport” or “water proof” on the package needs to be reapplied because it does come off!

There are other ways to be skin smart in the sun by the clothes you wear, like wearing a big floppy sun hat! I pair it with some wide rimmed sunglasses for a retro glam look! It protects my face and eyes and looks great.

If you must have that sun kissed look do it safely! I dust a little bronzer on my cheeks and forehead so it gives just the right amount of warm glow to my face. To get an all over body glow you can use self-tanning lotions. Some work gradually, meaning the color builds up each time you use it and others are stronger and give you an immediate glow. My best advice for self-tanning lotions is to exfoliate your skin before with a loofah and a good body scrub.

Enjoy the summer sun—go out and play! Be safe, love, laugh, live and embrace your natural glow!

Love,
