St. Patrick’s Day Fashion

Kiss me, I’m Irish!

It’s almost St. Paddy’s Day so we MUST discuss holiday fashion. Long gone are the days when Bare Naked Ladies sang about how buying someone a green dress is cruel. (Ask your parents to download the oldie, “If I had a Million Dollars” from iTunes. It’s adorbs.) Now green is fashion supreme. Especially on March 17th!

I HEART trying out new looks for the holidays. Below are the styles that I’m OB-to-the-SESSED with!

1 – St. Paddy eyeliner: Use bright green eye shadow on your upper and lower line. Then smudge for a smokey fun feel! When you’re done, use the eyeliner to draw a small four-leaf clover at the corner of your eye. So cute!

2 – Paint your nails green, but paint your thumb white. Once the paint on your thumbs has dried, use a toothpick to draw a green four-leaf clover!

3 – The fashion bold will use green make-up glitter to coat their eyebrows. Use a skinny brush to make clear and full brow lines. LOVE this look!

4 – Add green-dyed hair extensions to your ‘do. If you don’t have access to hair extensions, green ribbons in your locks will look totally cute!

If these St. Paddy’s Day looks are too bold for you, just make sure your wear SOMETHING green! You don’t want to get pinched by a leprechaun, do you???

How are you dressing up on March 17th?

XOXO

In Like a Lion

I’m sooooooooo excited Spring is almost here!

March begins tomorrow and everyone knows March comes in like a lion, but leaves like a lamb. And you know what that means! Skirts! Shorts! Dresses! Strappy heels! Peep-toe pumps! The epic return to half of my wardrobe!!!

I have missed my clothes so much! Is it just me, or does it get totally tiresome wearing the same looks week after week?

But it’s not just the return to fabulous fashions that I’m excited about. I’m ready to hang around outside again! Play soccer! Pick wildflowers! Make wishes on dandelions! Just to run and breathe in the sweet scented air will be so refreshing!

I’m getting jazzed just thinking about it!

What part of Spring are YOU most excited for??

Stick to your Resolutions!

Hi y’all!

Now that New Year’s Eve is over, and we’ve drank all the sparkling cider and taken our sparkling cocktail dresses to the cleaners, it’s totes hard to stay committed to those New Year’s Resolutions!
Here are a few hip n’ handy tips to help you stay committed to your 2014 commitment.

1- Make a resolution! You gotta make one, to make it happen! It’s like the lottery always says, you gotta play to win!

2- (This one’s my fave.) Look in the mirror and repeat your goal out loud over and over for a full minute– then fix your hair, but not until the minute is over!

3- Write your goal down on a bunch of pieces of paper and post them places you will see. I like to write my resolutions on my pink sticky note pad in big blue bubble letters!
4- Make it possible to reach your goals. If you decided to run a half marathon this year, don’t pick one happening in March. Choose a marathon in October so you can give yourself plenty of time to practice and prepare your body for the run. Then sign up for smaller runs, like a 5k in March, and a 10k in June, to keep yourself motivated. Same fab rule applies to any of your goals!
5- Find ways to make it fun! Whether it is getting straight A’s or finally asking out that cute boy in Science class, figure out how to make the adventure crazy fun! Maybe you and your girls can go out for hot cocoa right after a fierce study session. Or before asking out your crush, you can dive in to an amaze shopping spree! So fun!
Good luck, Bratzies! Keep me updated!
xoxo

Winter Break Fun

Hi y’all!

Are you having a super fun Holiday break from work and school?

We are!

At first, Jade was a little bummed because it is WAY too cold to go outside. But then Yasmin suggested we all hang out around the fire and read our awesome interactive comic books!  Sasha and I think Yas recommended reading because the My Passion comic book is all about her being the most epically awesome DJ of all time! Yasmin insists she thought of the idea simply because she loves to read.

Either way, it’s still been super fun! We make, like, buckets of hot cocoa, start a fire, turn on some fresh tunes and take turns using my tablet. The games in the interactive comic are so rad to play! Sasha rocked an amazing beat in the DJ game. And Jade styled my hair so hilariously in the My Stylez comic book, that we were rolling on the floor laughing for, like, 20 minutes!

Have you read and played our fab interactive comics yet? You can find them right here, on our website, under GAMES.

Let us know your fave part!

Halloween Safety Glam

Hi Y’all!

Cloe here! I am    totes stoked about Halloween. I know last week my bestie, Jade, told you all about how to look scary-glam for Trick-or-Treating, but she left one very important deet! Accessories!!

Luckily for you, my beloved Bratzies, accessories are totally my thing!!

The cool thing about Halloween, is that you accessorize your look with almost anything!! Just like Jade said last week, it’s srsly trending to add a little bling to your wicked. Since most of us will be Trick-or-Treating at night, I like to accessorize with wicked cool lights!

Here are my must-haves:

Angel’s Scorchin’ Accessories for a Cool Halloween

Glow Sticks: There are a ton of ways to incorporate glow sticks into your look. Last year, I saw a girl tape a glow stick to the end of her witch wand and it made the wand look like it was glowing mid-spell-cast! Sooo fab!! I like the wear the glow sticks as a necklace because it leaves an eerie glow on your face. Or I throw a ton of sticks in the pillow case I use to collect candy. It makes my whole bag glow!

Reflector Tape: Chillax, I’m not talking about wearing a crossing guard uniform. (Unless that’s what you are for Halloween!!) But there are fierce ways to accesorize with reflector tape. You can use it to write your initials in big letters on the back of a witch or superhero cape. Make some of your mummy bandages glow so follks see your gruesome self coming and have time to run!! Haha! Or, my personal fave, cover the base of your princess tiara, (or Hippie Headband!!) so everyone can’t help but see royalty is headed their way!

Glow in the Dark Nail Polish and Lip Stick: I’m ob-to-the-sessed with glow in the dark make up! The best part is, the nail polish and lip stick are usually clear, so you can put it over whatever face make up you are already wearing with your costume!! I go totally cray for the lipstick. It makes me feel like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. The first thing people will see of me is my smile! How fab is that??

Do you have any other ideas on how to accessorize with light? Let me know! And tell me how you are incorporating it into your fabtastic costumes!!

Love you all!!

xoxo

Sayonara #UnleashYourSummer

Hey y’all!

I cannot believe summer break is almost over and school’s about to start back up! Cah-to-the-razy! Crazy! This summer, the Bratz and I were on a mission to have the most EPIC SUMMER OF ALL TIME! I don’t know about y’all, but we totes met our goal! Go team!!

You fabulously awesome Bratzies gave us a TON of ideas for our #UnleashYourSummer Bucket List. We didn’t hit ALL of them, but there is always next summer!! T.B.H., we did soooooo much, I don’t know how we could have fit in anything else!! We went hang gliding, white water rafting, volunteered at charities, wrote poetry, tried new foods, talked to our crushes, created our own water park and so much more! We pushed the limits, faced our fears and had an AH-MAZ-ING time doing it!!

I’m super glad that we Bratz decided to do a combined Summer Bucket List. By having each one of us add things to the Bucket List, we all had to try something that scared us a little. We all had to go out of our comfort zone just a bit. Obvs, a friend would never make you do anything you didn’t want to do or didn’t feel comfortable doing. That’s not what a shared Summer Bucket List is about. It’s about helping your friends, lending a hand, and giving your BBFs a gentle nudge to challenge themselves.  Friends encouraging each other to grow is totes the only true way to #UnleashYourSummer!!

I think the FAB-solute bestestest thing that came out of challenging each other with our Summer Bucket List was how tight we became! Jade, Sasha, Yasmin and I were already besties, but now that we have experienced all these cool new things together, we are closer than ever!

Have any of you Bratzies experienced that? What crazy thing did you and your BBF do to become super tight? Did you and your besties do anything ridiculously awesome this summer?

Love you all!

xoxo

Bonding with #RealBratz BerryBread

OMG y’all!

I just had the most totally ah-maz-ing talk with by new BBF and total #RealBratz, Adrianne, a.k.a. Berry Bread!!

I was totes excited when she sent in her video all about why she is a #RealBratz!! Watch her epic video below:

Isn’t she the fabbest?? Berry Bread designed the website BratzBoulevard.com, has a rad jewelry business, is an online personality and is starting college in Fall!! She’s accomplished so much at such a young age because she began pursuing and unleashing her passions when she was just a kid!

Always with an eye for the arts, Berry Bread was only 6 years old when she would roam around her house, looking for trash she could transform into art projects.  Talk about trendsetter! This girl was all about upcycling before it was even a term!!

One of her fave crafts was to take household junk and reconfigure it into furniture for her dolls! An old egg carton and some toothpicks would be transformed into a dinner table for dolls! Too fab-a-lish!

Berry Bread jumped from dollhouse interior decorator to jewelry craftsman extraordinaire when she stumbled upon a DIY keychain kit. One beaded keychain later and this girl was hooked! She used her true blue #RealBratz intelligence and initiative to figure out how to make another keychain all on her own! After that, there was no stopping Ms. Bread. That girl was on a mission to design and create fab’n’fun accessories.

What I HEART most about Ms. Bread is that she didn’t keep all her fierce knowledge to herself. She decided to not only sell her goods, but to also teach her fans, the Berry Bread Crumbs, how to make their own!   Giving back in such a super sizzlin’ style is totes the #RealBratz way.

To share her gift of crafting, Berry Bread took to YouTube. She had already made an adorbs YouTube series staring yours truly! This new adventure was all about kickin’ it craft style. And her super supportive ‘rents even encouraged her to show her face in the videos so her Berry Bread Crumbs could relate to her more personally.

You can watch Berry Breads crafting videos here:

http://www.youtube.com/user/berrybread

Berry Bread’s most fabsolute #RealBratz attribute is her inspirational confidence. She always encourages her Berry Bread Crumbs to believe in themselves and be comfortable in their own skin.

When I asked Berry how she developed such an awesome attitude she told me that a few mean kids had teased her for playing with the doll versions of us! It had totally busted her confidence and she thought about packing up all of her dolls and sending them away. But she just couldn’t do it! She decided that being a total Bratzie meant so much more to her than the mean things a few silly people said. From that moment forward, she opted to be brave, bold, pursue her passions, do what she loved and encourage others to do the same!

Berry Bread exudes a true comfort in her own skin that every #RealBratz should aspire to have. Her effervescent spirit is totally contagious and totally why I want this rad girl to be one of my new BBFs.

And she would be a great friend to have, too, because this girl understands the importance of friendship and lending an ear. “You never know how you can help someone. You always have to try.” She also told me that in order to be a good BBF, “don’t replace your friends when you get bored. Your best bud is your best bud for life.”

HEART!

When I asked Berry if she had any advice for all the Bratzies out there, this is what she said:

“You don’t have to go through a super hard time to prove that you are strong.  As long as you be yourself, keep doing your thing and pushing forward despite what anyone says, you’re a Real Bratz.”

She also wanted to let all of her amazing Berry Bread Crumbs know that she loves them and that hearing she has made a positive influence has made all her hard work worthwhile.

Way to go Berry Bread!

#UnleashYourSummer Bucket List Update

Hey y’all,

Cloe here! And I just wanted to give a super shout-out to all of my Bratzies who have helped us plan our #SummerBucketList. So far it has been an epic success!! Yay! Go team!!

As y’all probably already know, we want YOU, our totes amazing Bratzies, to #UnleashYourSummer! This means it is time to set sail on a new adventure. Literally, if you can!

Spread your arms, open your mind and commit to making each and every day of your summer totally and completely epic!! We want you to laugh hard! Play hard! And think hard about what Fabtabulous new thing you can try each day. Use your gift of imagination and fabrication to explore worlds, stories and ideas. Get off the couch! Get off the computer (once you’ve finished reading this blog of course, lol)!! Go outside and start doing! The sun is shining and the world is yours. This summer can be the greatest adventure of your life!! Yay you!!

Jade suggested that we write down what totally epic thing we want to try each day of the summer. By writing down our plans, we committed to sticking to the Summer Bucket List. And so far, her plan has worked perfectly.  Each day we cross something new off the Summer Bucket List. It’s been a total blast! We have done so many fabtastic things already and summer has just begun!!

The first week alone was more epic than any summer I’ve ever had before!!

We kicked off our summer of awesome by white water rafting. That was totes my idea. The girlz were a bit scared, but they all did swimmingly! Especially Yasmin, who literally fell in the water and had to swim back to our raft! She said falling in was her fave part of the whole trip! LOL!  Then we went rock climbing, to which Sasha wore stilettos and broke a heel! We ended the week with a cray-cray paint party! I was bummin about getting my clothes dirty, but splashing each other with paint turned out to be fabtastically fun! That’s the best part when you #UnleashYourSummer! You are forced to try new things, and sometimes the things you think you will hate become you fab-solute new faves!!

But unleashing your summer is not all about fun! To have a truly epic summer, you should give back, too! We have helped out at a soup kitchen and ran a lemonade stand, donating the proceeds to charity! And wanna know the truth? Even though we have gone surfing, tried yoga in the park, went on a photo shoot safari, written songs and SOOOOO much more, I think I had the mostestestest fun I had, was when we were helping others!

Are you totally inspired yet?? Are YOU going to #UNLEASHYOURSUMMER?? Tell me all the fabulous new things you put on your Summer Bucket List. If we think they said super fabulous, we will add them to our own!!

Cheers to the most epic summer ever!!

XOXO

HOBles Are Going On Vacay!!

Hi y’all!

It’s been super fun kick starting our awesome club, House of Bratz. Now that it’s summer, our R.A.B. Fab club is going on vacay.

Don’t worry! We will bring back the totally rad club once school starts up again. And, we promise, it will be bigger than ever!!

We signed the Official Bratz Pact:

We made a secret password: fierce-a-licious

We made special friendship bracelets: http://pinterest.com/pin/287386019943548116/

And wore matching clothes every Monday so we would be able to recognize fellow HOBles: green, funky socks, asymmetrical, goal garb, mustache, flowers, glitter and mismatched nails.

We also sent cool messages back and forth in our Super Secret Shared Notebook!!

I think this has been a fabnomenal start to the House of Bratz!! Don’t you??

Now that summer is here, the other Bratz and I want to make it EPIC!! We have started a summer bucket list of all the super cool things we could do each day, like white water rafting, throwing a paint party, rock climbing or giving proceeds from a lemonade stand to charity. Our goal is to make each day Ah-maz-ing!!

Do YOU have any ideas on what we should add to our summer bucket list?

Keep checking the blog to read all about our awesome summer!!

And, if you HEART this rad idea, you Bratzies should TOTALLY make your own summer bucket list!! Tell us what fun, fab things you add and send us pics of you rockin’ the summer list!!

Can’t wait to hear your suggestions!!

Love you all!!

MTV Movie Awards

Hiya Bratzies! It’s y’allz one and only Cloe!

Did any of you Bratzies watch the MTV Movie Awards? I did, and they were totally super fun! I am OB-to-the-SESSED with all the fabtastic fashions and super chic winners!

I thought Rebel Wilson did a fabnomenal job. I especially loved her haute couture Iron Man suit in my signature color: pink!! It was so rad watching her tell jokes, dance and sing. She is totes a triple threat!

I don’t know what I would do if I had to host something like the MTV Movie Awards. I might have fainted! It would be soooooooo scary to perform in front of all of those people!! But Rebel faced her fears like a rock star and totally nailed it!!

The celebrities all looked abso-fabso! I loved Selena Gomez’s golden dress. Chloe Moretz looked adorbs in denim. And Amanda Seyfried was scorchin’ in her blue mini! Special shout out to Eddie Redmayne and his fab-a-licious black jacket. Is it just me, or was he totally one of the best dressed guys there?

There were a ton of fun wins! I was super glad Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Kiss. And I thought it was sooooooooo krazy kool when Rebel Wilson turned from host to winner when she won for Best Break Out Performance in “Pitch Perfect.” Way to go, Rebel!!

But, my bestestest, most totally absolutest favoritest moment from the MTV Movie Awards was when Emma Watson accepted the Trailblazer Award. Not only was her dress fierce, but so was her speech!!

Emma said, “Becoming yourself is really hard and confusing, and it’s a process….It’s often not to cool to be the person who puts themselves out there. And I’ve gotten teased mercilessly. But I found that, ultimately, if you truly pour your heart into what you believe in, even if it makes you vulnerable, amazing things can and will happen.”

Wow! Right? I mean, wow!

Emma Watson is totally a Real Bratz. I love, LoVe, LOVE how she talked about being an eager beaver in school and always raising her hand to answer questions, even though people made fun of her. Emma stayed true to herself, even in the face of bullying. She continued to pursue and unleash her passion, even when it made her vulnerable. And in the end, she gets to live the dream because she was courageous enough to go after it!  I think that’s what makes Emma Watson a true trailblazer!!

Are YOU chasing after your deepest passions? If not, what’s stopping you? Maybe I can help!!

xoxo
