Hey Bratzies! Want to know what’s better than jewelry? Bigger, bolder, look-at-me jewelry! My newest obsession is the statement necklace. Chunky jewels are fabulous if you’re lookin’ to get noticed… and they’re great for adding some sparkle to any outfit, even a simple t-shirt and jeans! There is only one trick to rockin’ this look and that’s to not overdo it! For example, if you’re already sporting a super sparkly statement necklace then make sure to go easy on the earrings. They may be fabulous but you don’t want to get lost in a sea of jewels. Remember the jewels are the accessories, not you!

If chunky necklaces aren’t your thing, try wearing earrings to add a little sparkle around your eyes. Try colorful floral studs for a pop of color — match the color of your earrings to your eyes for extra impact — or hang a pair of bejeweled teardrop earrings for a fierce new look! If you’re wearing a statement necklace then pair it with a pair of simple rhinestone studs to add just the right amount of extra sparkle around your face.

Last but not least is a big, beautiful ring! Flowers and bows are very trendy right now – my favorite is the beautiful turquoise flower ring below that makes any outfit go from ordinary to super extraordinary! You really can wear these chunky rings with any outfit. But remember, only wear one bulky ring at a time – if you want to wear more than one ring then pair your big rings with simple bands. And if you are wearing multiple rings on one hand, avoid wearing statement bracelets and watches on the same hand.
Hello dollz—Sasha on the scene bringing you a quick lesson on hair extensions! Hair extensions are a fun and fabulous way to add some color to your hair without long-term commitment or causing damage to your gorgeous locks. I’ve seen some pretty crazy styles out there—from feathers to glowing fiber optic strands! Celebs always rock extensions to help them go from long luscious waves on the red carpet to an exciting colorful hairstyle on stage.
There are a few different types of hair extensions. You can either get clip-on, glue-in or weaved in extensions.
Clip-on hair extensions are super easy to wear and change. You just need to hide the clip under a layer of hair. This is best for one-day use or if you just like to change up your look a lot!
Glue-in extensions can last up to a month—if done right—and you’ll need a hair stylist or friend to help. To remove them you need to use a special oil-conditioning remover. If you are patient and gentle you can take them off without damaging your hair.
Weaved in extensions stay on longer than glue in extensions and are pretty much “threaded” into your hair on hidden rows of braids. These extensions take a while for the hair stylist to put on your hair but the results are worth it if you want the extensions in for a long time. You can wash your hair and style it anyway you want!

Hey Darlings! Meygan here and I’ve been obsessed with all these hot new nail trends. A manicure is such a fun and easy way to shake up your look! I love having nail parties with my friends – it’s the best time for girl talk! Let’s check out what’s new in the nail world. Don’t forget to tell me what’s on your nails!
Statement Nail: Paint four finger nails the same color. Paint your ring finger any color you choose. In this picture, a fabulous MGA Social Media Manager rocks a bright turquoise look against shimmery black – bold and beautiful!
Have you seen magnetic nail polish? It’s a special kind of nail polish made with magnetic particles that you layer over a polish base. The nail polish usually comes with a magnet. Paint a thick coat of the polish on your finger tip, and then hold the magnet above it for 10 seconds. While you wait, the magnet attracts the particles and pulls them into the design. Cool, right?! Check out an MGA Marketing Manager and her awesome chocolate brown magnetic mani!
Shattered nails are all the rage and can be easily done by painting over a base coat with “shatter” or “crackle” polish. I’m loving hot neon color combos, like hot pink and electric blue, or something more demure like baby pink with silver over the top. Check out an MGA Copywriter’s shattered pink and black nails – so punk rock!
Are you looking to really make a statement? Look no further than the new “caviar mani”, or as our designer calls it, the “bubblegum” mani! Get this look by painting a base coat over your nails, and while it’s still wet, dipping your nail into tiny pearlescent beads (available at craft stores). Rumor has it beauty stores will be coming out with kits to do this soon. We love this look – it really pops!
Which of these nail looks do you like best? Have you tried any of them? Tell me what you think!
Hello lovelies! It’s Meygan here to teach you how to create the purr-fect Cat-Eye look! This is a classic make-up style that anyone can pull off with practice and good eyeliner. To get this glamourous look, you’ll need your favorite liquid eyeliner and an eyeliner brush with a fine-tip point.
1) Start by drawing a thin line on the inner part of your upper eyelid. Keep it very close to the lash line.
2)Go back to the outer eyelid and thicken the line just above the line you just drew. The line should be thin at the inner eye and slowly thicken as you get to the outer eyelid.
3) Then add a winged end—like a small check mark! Don’t let the winged end extend further than the length of your eyebrow—unless you’re going for a more dramatic look!
Be sure to rest your elbow on a surface, like the counter, to keep your hand steady. If you mess up a little, use some eye moisturizer or make-up remover to erase and start again. It takes lots of practice to get the hang of it, so just relax and have fun with it!
How do you feel about Cat Eyes? What celebs can you think of that always rock this look? We think Taylor Swift has it down!
